The Power of WaterWaterfall photography is my passion. Capturing the beauty and magnificence of a fall in it's raging beauty is one of the most fulfilling things about photography to me. I must shoot falls at least one day of every week of the year. The best time, of course, is late Winter/early Spring, to capture them during their full, raging season of POWER.
I generally do most of my waterfall hiking with my family, or with my wife's cousin, Ray. I never go alone, as it's just not a safe thing to do. I can't stress enough how dangerous this can be. So, while I always try to get people into the beauty of waterfalls, I always stress the importance of being prepared with good gear, let someone know where you are going, and to ALWAYS have a partner. This can NOT be made any clearer.
