Not far from Dingman's Falls, is Childs' Park, which is loaded with beautiful waterfalls. This shot was my favorite for the day.

Nice composition, Ken. There are so many falls in PA that I still need to visit...this is one of them.

Thank You. :D Any time you come around to shoot falls, let me know. My cousin, Ray, owns the pawaterfalls.com site and is the authority on falls in the state. Love to take you around. Check out his page on DA. He goes by the name Mardonic. I don't think he's updated the DA site in quite awhile, but he's got links to his other sites on that page. [link]

Oooh, really? Thanks for the link! I've only ever been to Ohiopyle and Cucumber Falls. Plenty more to go, I guess!

Yeah, there's a LOT of them just in NE PA alone. I've only just begun, and Ray's site doesn't even cover them all. Again, mostly just NE PA. Western Pa has tons as well. Quite a good state for them. The motherload is a place called Rikitt's Glen. There's 21 medium to LARGE waterfalls at this state park. I need new pics of the place. The ones I have are before I had my Canon, and none of them are blurred. Planning a trip out there soon for summer, but can't wait until Autumn for the better shots. I've yet to see Ohiopyle or Cucumber.

NE PA would be quite a trip for me! I've seen tons of shots of Rickett's Glen...it looks amazing! I'd love to spend like a week up there in the autumn. Dream vacation! You should come down to Ohiopyle, too. There are a lot of smaller ones in the area that I haven't seen yet either. I'm trying to branch out from West Virginia (though, I have a lot left to explore here too!)

Well, the plan is to early retire soon and buy an RV and go fulltiming, travelling the country with my wife and my camera. At least my camera. So like I told Mike, i'll definitely contact you when that happens. Should be within a few years.

You could easily do a week at Rikitt's. The place is just gorgeous. Great lake at the top of it with an amazing campground. I think we're gonna do at least a four day weekend there this fall. Depending on how many vacation days I can save through the summer.
