It's very wonderful for that. I've only learned of its existence recently, but both times I've been there, I spent hours there. Awesome place. On the way back from NYC, I was very tempted to stop there, but was far too sore and exhausted from running around so much.
Thank you very much. Couldn't have done it without you. I had your email opening and closing throughout the whole process.
It's still a bit dark at the bottom. I'm going to continue to work on this one, and see if I can bring out more color in the rocks. I think this one would benefit from a pseudo-hdr process, out of the one shot. I'm not sure how to do it though.
Well, wouldn't you know...I happen to know how to do that too... Just say the word!
By the way...I've been wondering. Is it Raymond-skill or Raymonds-kill? I once visited a set of falls called "Deadman's Falls" and that was pretty obvious. Witnessed a girl fall over the edge while I was there, too!
Hmmm, not sure. Something i guess i should know though. I'll find out.
If you've seen the pictures of Nay Aug's gorge fall, that I take a lot of, that's a killer area too. Many kids have died back there, jumping off the cliffs. For as beautiful as they are, they can all be dangerous.
Nope. Two weeks ago, I had the opposite happen. I was at this same fall, after massive rains hit. It was gushing and there was a HUGE rainbow going across the bottom of the gorge, through the mist. Soon as i got the damn camera all set up, it left. Wouldn't have mattered anyway though, because it only took a second for my lens to get COVERED with drops. Hopefully I'll get another shot at a rainbow soon.
